    Plaquenil and bartonella

It may have both an anti-spirochaete activity and an anti-inflammatory activity, similar to the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis. And caution is required if patients have certain heart conditions, diabetes, psoriasis etc.

Marty Ross MD shows how to build a Lyme disease herbal or prescription antibiotic treatment. In this guide I provide eleven sample herbal and presription antibiotic treatment plans, including the dosing regimens I have found effective. She didn't even prescribe the biaxin or plaquenil. but I had both of them prescribed to me by different doctors so I'm starting this on my own. My background is in nursing so I know enough not to do anything too stupid, and I did send the doctor a fax w/ info from these support posts that people are doing this for Bartonella, but neither I. I was recently interviewed on Lyme Talk Radio about Bartonella. In case you missed it, here is a transcript of our discussion on why Bartonella is the new Lyme Disease. Q Our research is now indicating that Lyme disease is deadly.

The most serious adverse effects affect the eye, with dose-related retinopathy as a concern even after hydroxychloroquine use is discontinued. The most common adverse effects are a mild nausea and occasional stomach cramps with mild diarrhea.

So the next day, my doc said to stop and he put me on Biaxin and Plaquenil, which he said would work on both Lyme and Bartonella. No basketball or tennis or racquetball for me until a few months after the Levaquin has worn off. Plaquenil can cause eye issues, good to get regular eye check up if you take it for a few months or more. which I have not done. yet Sounds like you got everything covered with the Biaxin and the Doxy, probably a good combo. I hope those antibiotics help you make some progress. Levaquin is a 3rd generation fluoroquinolone. I was treated for bartonella with gemifloxacin a 4th generation fluoroquinolone directly targeting the bartonella, but taken along with tindamax and telithromycin targeting the borrelia, and, for a period of time, also with clindamycin to get the babesia.
